How to Know if your Dream is Genuine;Clearing The Confusion Between a Dream And a Fantasy.

In the past, I have had this difficulty differentiating between a dream and an imaginary fantasy. So many people confuse dreams for fantasy and many others confused fantasy for dreams. This confusion have caused many dreams to go down the pit.

However, Dreams and Fantasy are not too far apart, in the sense that both has to do with the mind and imagination. There are both thoughts.

Although these two are related in terms of the mind and Imaginative power, only one of it can be brought to reality and that is called Dream.

Dreams then are thought patterns, that possess the capacity to become a reality.
While on the other hand, imaginary fantasy are thought patterns, which entices the mind, but have no capacity to become a reality.

To know if your thought patterns (imaginations) is genuine, you need to constantly put it to test which I will tell you about.

First, why do we dream, is it to exercise our imaginative ability, is it to give us what to feel powerful about within us or is it to solve an existing problem and give solution to pending life barriers?

Dreams are not for entertaining ourselves, what is for entertainment is called fantasy, which you can only indulge in your mind.

To determine the status of your imaginations, put it to the Relevance Test (RT). How relevant is your dream, in other words, does it possess the capacity to solve existing or future problems?

For your imagination to be called a dream, it must possess the capacity to solve existing or future problems. If after checking, there is no problem solving capacity within your imagination, then it is a fantasy.

Secondly, put it to the Reality Test, how connected is your imagination to the current trends of things around the world. For your dream to become a reality, it has to possess an actual link to the existing world. No dream can emerge out of nowhere. If your imagination does not have links to the actual world, then it is just a fantasy.

Your dream is very important, if it is a one solution to many problems, if it has capacity to borne your personal burden and that of humanity at large.

And your dream is highly achievable, when it possess many actual links to the existing world. The more the connections, the more achievable that dream is.

In my opinion, I will advise that you establish a link between your dreams and the existing future problems you wish to solve and also scanned for the outlets, out of which your dreams may come. When these two have been successfully done, your dream is genuine.
